The file size depends on the dimensions of the banner so:

• Leaderboard – 728x90 = 30k
• Skyscraper – 120x600 = 30k
• Banner – 468x60 = 15k
• Button – 120x90 = 10k
• Button – 125x125 = 10k

The file type depends on where the banner is going so:

• All website banners can be either GIF or Flash files
• Ads due to feature on any email alerts must be a GIF file

There is no limit on the number of loops or frames a banner has, although this can increase the overall file size of the ad so:

• the more frames there are, the heavier the file
